Our work is planned, design-aware and delivered with care — whether we’re transforming a garden, managing land or building something structural. We take pride in doing things properly and leaving sites clean, organised and finished.
Clear planning, no surprises
Every project starts with a proper site visit and an open conversation.
Where it makes sense, we provide sketches or scale drawings and agree the details before work begins. That way everyone knows what’s happening, what’s included and what the finished result should be.
Ongoing care
We also offer ongoing maintenance for clients who want their outdoor spaces looked after properly once a project is complete — or who simply want a reliable team they can trust.

Ben
Landscaping Project Manager
Ben has been working in landscaping for over 20 years and brings an exceptional level of knowledge and attention to detail to every project.
He first worked with Michael at the age of 15 and quickly showed the work ethic and standards that would see him progress through the business. Today, Ben oversees projects of all sizes — from ongoing maintenance through to complex, large-scale landscaping works — ensuring quality, organisation and finish are never compromised.
Ben has a sharp eye for detail, a calm, methodical approach on site and a genuine drive to make every project better than the last. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, football and family life, and has a deep appreciation for nature — which shows in the care he brings to his work.
(He’s also known for a serious weakness for chocolate cake.)
Martyn
Construction & Site Support
Martyn’s construction knowledge has been built the hard way — from the ground up.
With experience in groundwork, pipework and labouring, Martyn plays a key role in keeping projects moving smoothly on site. He ensures materials are where they need to be, when they’re needed, helping the team maintain momentum without cutting corners.
A reliable, hard-working presence on every project, Martyn is known for his strong work ethic, good humour and willingness to get stuck in wherever needed. A family man with a kind heart, he’s very much the backbone of the operation — even if he insists chocolate and biscuits aren’t his thing.

Michael
Founder & Director
Michael is the founder of Land & Landscaping and the driving force behind how the business operates today.
He has had his hands in the earth since the age of seven, when he created his own allotment on the family farm. Since then, he has built a long and respected career across construction, landscaping and transport, working on projects throughout the UK and Europe.
Michael is known for his high standards, attention to detail and straightforward approach. He does what he says he will do and keeps clients informed throughout the project journey — qualities that have earned him a strong reputation and consistent recommendations.
A family man who enjoys travelling, good food and time outdoors, Michael has a deep respect for wildlife and nature, which underpins the way projects are planned and delivered.

Purdey
Site Supervisor (Unofficial)
Purdey is the team’s well-trained — and occasionally muddy — spaniel, regularly found on site keeping an eye on staff, tools and unattended sandwich boxes.
A specialist in stick collection and general morale boosting, Purdey’s main interests include ponds, fresh air and making sure everyone remembers to enjoy the work they do.
